567 IC Oscillator With Double Frequency Out
Sometimes, a precise two different frequencies are needed in synchronized circuit design, oneĀ with certain frequency and another with exactly double frequency.
Usually we build two clock signals with frequency with 1:2 frequencies by feeding an oscillator into a binary counter or T (toggle) flip-flop, so it would be need more components. Using 567 IC, we can build this function only by a single IC chip. The frequency determination is similar to general 567 IC based oscillator, f = 1/(1.1xR1xC1).
